A top the Spooky Mountain storytellers from all over come together to to share their tales, spin their yarns, and weave together their stories for any traveler that wanders by their fire side. Their tools vary from teller to teller, but their goals are all the same: to share the things they’ve come to know of the lands below the mountain’s top. The adventures once taken, the beauty hidden amongst the weeds and dirt, and the lingering shadows watching from the dark of a still cold night. Spooky Mountain is not for the faint of heart, but those brave enough to seek it’s peak will find a small respite from the busy world below, a place to watch the shadows of the camp fire dance and listen to their crackling songs of triumph, damnation, and hope. Then when the voices settle, the bottles empty, and the final throes of night settle into the blanket of warming dawn, pack your bags and set off down the road. You cannot stay long a top The Spooky Mountain, but you’re always welcome to return.

Michael Bowling
A prolific chair sitter, he is resting and honing his skills. Preparing for the near future when the global economy crashes and he is driven to walk the wasteland in rope sandals. He will weave the new mythologies and spew sincere nonsense in the courts of the sword-barons of the Midwest. He has been sighted anywhere the Spooky Mountain appears. If you see him out there, drop a shiny in his ridiculously oversized hat and prepare your wind-chapped face for a truly immersive storytelling experience. Or don’t.

Joseph Kendrick
A wanderer on the roads leading to and from the Spooky Mountain, Joseph is a weaver of words, tales, and other junk he finds along the way. From sock puppets to poetry, comic books to short fiction, he’s got all the makings of a modern bard with the empty coin pouch to match. Amidst the dangers from the Poisonous Prairie to the Murkmire River, he collects stories of his and other wanderers along the trails to tell by the fireside atop the Spooky Mountain. Whether fact or fiction, real or fantasy, Joseph weaves between, creating a tapestry of the lands below that’s hard to imagine, but easy to believe.
